JEMBER (Wartatransparansi.com) — Adinda Putri Arifin, siswi MAN 1 (Madrasah Aliyah Negeri) Jember, Jawa Timur mengukir prestasi internasional. Siswi yang akrab disapa Ari kelas X BIC 2 ini lolos dalam seleksi beasiswa Student Exchange ke Jepang.
Sehubungan itu, Ari menjadi salah satu dari tujuh delegasi Republik Indonesia untuk Jeneys High School for ASEAN 2023.
“I have never imagined in my life that I would have the opportunity to participate in student exchange selections like this. With the guidance of my teachers, I learned about this program and was able to pass the interview stage,” terang Ari di Jember usai menerima pengumuman bahwa dirinya lolos seleksi beasiswa Student Exchange ke Jepang, Selasa (20/6/2023).
“Initially, I lacked the courage, but all my friends in the ma’had (Islamic boarding school) helped me. They encouraged and supported me, especially my classmates. Despite having to temporarily cut my studies to prepare for the interview, they assisted me by teaching and giving me exercises so that I wouldn’t miss anything. After passing the interview on June 13th, I had to wait for the announcement. Then I got that unbelievable news on June 17th,” sambungnya.
